Job Overview:

Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Spark Schools Internship Program is to provide students with hands-on experience in various aspects of school operations, including educational support, curriculum development, and administrative functions. Interns will work closely with teachers and school leaders to support the delivery of high-quality education and gain valuable insights into the education sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, lesson planning, and student support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational materials and resources.
- Support administrative tasks such as organizing events, managing records, and preparing reports.
- Participate in school projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the learning environment.
- Engage with students, providing guidance and support in academic and extracurricular activities.

Education:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum academic standing of a 2.8 GPA or equivalent.
Experience:
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in educational settings is advantageous but not required.
- Exposure to educational principles or school administration through academic projects or extracurricular involvement is beneficial.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and educational software tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for education and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with students and staff.
