Position Purpose
The Sangonet Internship Program aims to develop emerging talent by offering real-world experience in various aspects of nonprofit management, technology development, and digital communications. Interns will gain insights into the strategic operations of our organization while actively participating in projects that support our mission to advance social and technological progress.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with project research, data collection, and analysis.
- Support the development and implementation of digital and communication strategies.
- Contribute to content creation for social media, blogs, and newsletters.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for project improvement.
- Help coordinate events, webinars, and outreach activities.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including document preparation and database management.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in a nonprofit or technology environment is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated interest in the intersection of technology and social impact.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles.
