Job Overview:
Pedros is offering a valuable internship program for 2024, aimed at providing hands-on experience in the fast-paced food service and retail industry. Position Purpose:
The purpose of this internship is to offer recent graduates practical experience in the food service industry, enhancing their understanding of business operations, customer relations, and supply chain processes. Interns will gain essential skills and industry insights while contributing to the daily operations and strategic initiatives at Pedros.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations in various departments, including front-line customer service and back-end supply chain management.
- Support the development and execution of promotional and marketing activities.
- Contribute to inventory management, including stock control and order processing.
- Engage in customer service activities, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Participate in the analysis of sales data and assist in preparing reports and presentations.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, document management, and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and operational tasks as needed.
Education:
- Recently graduated or currently completing a degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum academic requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience:
- No prior professional experience required; however, any relevant internships, part-time work, or academic projects in the food service or retail industry will be considered advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of business operations and customer service is beneficial.
