Job Overview: Omnia is offering an internship program for 2024 that provides recent graduates with practical experience in the chemical and agricultural sectors. Interns will have the opportunity to work in various departments, including operations, engineering, and business development, gaining valuable skills and industry knowledge in a leading multinational company.
Position Purpose: The purpose of the Omnia Internship Program is to offer graduates hands-on experience in the chemical and agricultural industries. Interns will support various operational and strategic functions within the company, contributing to projects and gaining insights into industry practices, while developing their professional skills.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations in assigned departments, including production, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Support engineering teams with project tasks, data analysis, and equipment maintenance.
- Contribute to business development activities, including market research, strategy development, and client interactions.
- Provide administrative support, including managing documentation, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings.
- Participate in the development and execution of process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative projects as assigned.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks, contributing to departmental goals and objectives.
Education:
- Recently graduated or currently completing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Science, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum academic requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience:
- No prior professional experience required; however, any relevant internships, academic projects, or part-time work in chemical, agricultural, or business sectors will be considered advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of chemical processes, agricultural practices, or business operations is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
