The National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (Nemisa) Internship is offering dynamic internship opportunities for 2024. Position Purpose
The Nemisa Internship Program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, editing, and production of digital media content, including video, audio, and graphic design.
- Support various broadcasting projects, including pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
- Participate in research and development activities to support the creation of new digital media content.
- Collaborate with teams on digital marketing and social media strategies to enhance Nemisa’s online presence.
- Provide technical support in areas such as sound engineering, video production, and digital media distribution.
- Assist in the development of training materials and resources for digital media and ICT courses.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in digital media and ICT.
- Contribute to the administrative tasks related to the internship program, including documentation and reporting.
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Digital Media, Broadcasting, Film Production, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance from a recognized institution.
Experience
- No prior work experience is required, but previous internships or project experience in digital media, broadcasting, or related fields will be an advantage.
Skills
- Proficiency in digital media software, including video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator), and audio editing tools (e.g., Audacity).
- Strong understanding of digital media production processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
