The National Credit Regulator (NCR) is excited to offer internship opportunities for 2024. This program is designed for recent graduates and current students to gain hands-on experience in credit regulation and consumer protection. Position Purpose

The NCR Internship Program aims to:

Duties and Responsibilities

Interns will assist with:

  • Conducting research on credit industry trends and regulatory issues

  • Assisting with data analysis and regulatory compliance checks
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to departmental projects
  • Handling general administrative tasks and supporting various departments as needed
Education
  • Recent graduates or students in their final year of study in Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong academic performance is preferred
  • Relevant coursework or projects related to credit regulation or consumer protection is advantageous
Experience
  • Prior work experience is not required
  • Any relevant internships, part-time jobs, or volunteer work in finance or regulatory fields is a plus
  • Demonstrated interest in credit regulation and consumer protection is essential
Skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Basic understanding of credit regulation or financial principles is beneficial
