The National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC) Vacancies is excited to announce internship opportunities for 2024 in South Africa. Position Purpose
The NAMC Internship Program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical work experience. Interns will:

Duties and Responsibilities
Interns will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Assisting with research and data analysis related to agricultural markets
- Supporting the development and implementation of marketing strategies
- Preparing reports and presentations
- Engaging in stakeholder communications and outreach
- Participating in team meetings and project discussions
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Agriculture, Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
- Academic performance will be considered
- Coursework or projects related to agricultural marketing or policy is advantageous
Experience
- Previous work experience is not required
- Any relevant internships, part-time jobs, or volunteer work in agriculture or marketing is a plus
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for the agricultural sector and marketing is essential
Skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Basic understanding of agricultural markets or marketing principles is beneficial
