Job Overview
The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is offering internship opportunities for 2024 to provide recent graduates with practical experience in the mining sector. Position Purpose
The MQA Internship Program aims to provide interns with exposure to the mining industry’s operational and administrative aspects. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals to support various functions within the organization, contributing to the development and management of mining qualifications and skills development programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and review of mining qualifications and training materials.

Education
- A Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Mining Engineering, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field.
- A strong academic record from a recognized institution.
Experience
- No prior work experience is required, but relevant internships, projects, or coursework in mining or skills development are advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
