Job Description:

The Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust (MRTT) offers various internship opportunities for unemployed graduates to gain valuable workplace experience in their respective fields of study. This internship programme aims to enhance employability by providing real-world exposure. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R5000 for a 24-month period, starting on 01 November 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle debtors, creditors, assets, revenue, and expenditure management.
  • Support project administration.

Human Resources Officers (Reference No: HR2024)

  • Manage recruitment, selection, and labour relations.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and human resource development.
  • Contribute to human resource planning.

Marketing Officers & Graphic Designers (Reference No: MOG2024)

  • Promote MRTT and design graphic materials.
  • Engage with stakeholders and manage social media platforms.
  • Organize career exhibitions and visual communications.

Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) Administrators (Reference No: ICT2024)

  • Address end-user queries and monitor networks.
  • Provide desktop, network, and helpdesk support.

Legal Administrators (Reference No: LA2024)

  • Assist with legal queries and provide legal support.
  • Manage documents and assist board committees.
  • Handle secretarial duties and company records.

Performance Information Officers (Reference No: PI2024)

  • Provide administrative support and assist in monitoring and evaluation.
  • Aid in verifying performance data for reports and assist in strategic planning.

Office Administrators (Reference No: OA2024)

  • Oversee daily office functions and manage administrative processes.
  • Support staff and management with correspondence, scheduling, and data entry.
  • Maintain communication channels and filing systems.

Project Managers (Reference No: PM2024)

  • Provide direction for project teams and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance.
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

Assessors (Reference No: A2024)

  • Plan and prepare for assessments.
  • Guide learners through the assessment process and provide feedback.
  • Manage budgets and comply with assessment requirements.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a National Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) in relevant fields for each position:

  • Finance, Human Resources, Labour Relations, Paralegal, Marketing, ICT, Legal, Public Management, Office Administration, Project Management, Hospitality Management, Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

  • No prior work experience required. This internship is aimed at unemployed graduates.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software.
