The KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Department of Community Safety and Liaison Internship is offering exciting internship opportunities for 2024. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of community safety programs and initiatives.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of public safety projects and campaigns.
  • Conduct research and analysis on crime trends and public safety issues.
  • Participate in community outreach activities to raise awareness about safety and crime prevention.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, and community forums.

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Criminology, Community Development, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance from a recognized institution.

Experience

  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in community safety, public administration, social work, or a related field is advantageous but not required.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
