The Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) is offering internship opportunities for the year 2024. This internship program is designed for individuals eager to gain experience in the education sector, particularly in the administration and support of independent schools across South Africa.
Position Purpose
The purpose of the ISASA internship is to provide practical experience in educational administration and support, contributing to the effective operation and enhancement of independent schools. Interns will engage with various aspects of school management and development, gaining valuable insights into the educational sector.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and execution of educational programs and events.
- Support administrative tasks including data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Help in the development and dissemination of educational materials and resources.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to project planning and implementation.
- Conduct research on educational trends and best practices to support school initiatives.
Education Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in an educational or administrative role is advantageous but not required.
Skills Requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
