Job Description:
As a Human Resources Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the HR team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HR field, contributing to essential functions such as recruitment, employee onboarding, record management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. You will work closely with HR professionals to help maintain a smooth and efficient HR process within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support:
- Post job openings on job boards and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Participate in initial interview rounds, if required.
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Assist in preparing welcome kits for new employees and gathering necessary paperwork.
- Ensure all documentation for new hires is collected and filed accurately.
- Support exit interviews and document the offboarding process.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) or databases.
- Organize and digitize physical employee files as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.
- Benefits & Compliance:
- Assist with administering employee benefits, including addressing basic inquiries about health insurance and retirement plans.
- Help coordinate company events and team-building activities.
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed.
- Support compliance with local labor laws and regulations by assisting with audits and organizing required documentation.
- General HR Support:
- Perform general office duties, such as data entry, filing, and scanning.
- Assist with any additional HR tasks as directed by the HR Manager or team.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in:
- Human Resource Management
- Industrial Psychology
- Or related fields
Experience:
- Prior internship or experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with HR practices and processes will be a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
