Job Description
The Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF) is excited to offer a Supply Chain Internship Programme for 2024/2025, designed for recent graduates interested in gaining real-world experience within supply chain management. This 12-month internship provides hands-on learning opportunities, enabling you to work alongside skilled professionals in the GPF’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) unit. Responsibilities
- Supplier Sourcing: Source suppliers from the Central Supplier Database and assist in compiling and evaluating price quotations.
- Market Research & Procurement Support: Conduct market research on products and services and help prepare procurement plans and quarterly reports.
- Tender Management: Support tender processes and participate in bid committee activities.
- Inventory & Contract Management: Assist with inventory management, monthly reconciliations, and contract administration.
- Reporting: Contribute to Economic Development (ED) and BEE reporting and help in drafting SCM reports.
- Administrative Support: Coordinate travel arrangements, manage compliance, and handle other administrative duties as needed by the CEO, CFO, or Line Manager.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirement: National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience
- Work Experience: No prior work experience is required, making this a great opportunity for recent graduates eager to learn.
Skills
- MS Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Organizational & Time Management: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
