Job Description
Ford South Africa is offering a Learnership Programme for 2024/2025. This programme provides a unique opportunity for young individuals to gain hands-on experience and institutionalized training in various specialized areas. The goal is to develop practical skills while contributing to the company’s objectives in production, quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Participate in both institutionalized training and on-the-job learning as outlined by the learnership qualification and company requirements.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery goals by following standardized workplace training processes.
- Learn to use specific tools and equipment essential for specialized tasks within the assembly line.
- Follow established workplace procedures and timelines.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance the efficiency of assembly processes.
- Assist in supporting production activities.
- Maintain clear and open communication with supervisors and colleagues.
- Uphold integrity in all tasks and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- A Grade 12 certificate, including a pass in English and Pure Mathematics HG/SG (Maths Literacy, Additional Maths, Functional Maths, Commercial Maths, and Applied Maths are not acceptable).
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Applicants must be under the age of 35.
Experience
No prior experience is required, but candidates must be willing to learn and adapt to a structured learning and working environment.
