Position Purpose:

The purpose of the DWS Internship Graduate Programme is to equip recent graduates with practical skills and professional experience in the field of water and sanitation. Interns will assist in various departmental functions, contributing to the effective management and preservation of water resources while developing their own professional competencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of water and sanitation projects.
  • Conduct research and analysis on water resource management issues.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documents.
  • Participate in field visits and inspections to gather data and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members on policy development and project execution.

Education Requirements:

  • A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Water Resource Management, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Experience Requirements:

  • Previous internship or work experience in a related field is advantageous but not required.
