Job Description
The selected candidate will participate in a 12-month graduate program that provides a blend of theoretical and practical exposure. This program is designed to offer insight into the corporate and employee benefits environment, equipping the candidate with the necessary skills to excel in the role. Successful completion of the program will enhance the candidate’s readiness for permanent or secondment roles within the organization.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Processing daily and monthly transactional activities within agreed service levels.
- Conducting data comparisons to prepare reconciliations of premiums and ensuring correct rate applications against internal billing.
- Liaising with internal and external clients to resolve queries in line with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Managing the entire billing process, including monitoring monthly billing, contributions allocation, and issuing statements.
- Comparing bank statements against scheme batch remits to accurately allocate payments/premiums to the correct schemes.
- Issuing credit controls where necessary.
- Handling general administrative queries effectively.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a qualification in one of the following fields:
- Diploma or Bachelor of Commerce degree.
- Bachelor of Science in IT.
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences (advantageous).
- Related qualifications will also be considered.
Experience
- No prior work experience is required, making this program ideal for recent graduates.
- Any experience or internships in billing, reconciliation, or client query resolution will be advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data reconciliation and processing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of corporate and employee benefits is a plus.
