Job Overview

The Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture is offering internship positions for the year 2024. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of sport events, arts festivals, and cultural exhibitions.
  • Support the development and implementation of sport development programs and initiatives.
  • Assist in conducting research and analysis on sport, arts, and cultural policies and practices.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Engage with artists, athletes, cultural practitioners, and community groups.
  • Support administrative tasks and contribute to the efficient operation of the department.

Education Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program in Sport Management, Arts Administration, Cultural Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance in relevant courses.

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in sport management, arts administration, event planning, or cultural projects is advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated interest in sport, arts, and cultural development.

Skills Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
