Responsibilities

The main duties for the Registry Clerk positions include:

  • Managing the registry, which involves developing and maintaining a proper filing system.
  • Opening, closing, and disposing of files and documents in accordance with regulations.
  • Maintaining a database of clients and service providers.
  • Receiving, recording, screening, and distributing incoming submissions and correspondence for the Minister or Deputy Minister.
  • Sorting, acknowledging, and following up on correspondence.
  • Operating office equipment like fax machines and photocopiers.
  • Assisting with other duties as instructed by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirement: Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • No prior experience is required, making these roles ideal for those starting their careers.

Experience

No experience is required. However, candidates should have an interest in administrative work, attention to detail, and the ability to handle office tasks efficiently.
