Responsibilities
As an Intern / Learner, your specific responsibilities will depend on the department you’re assigned to. Below are the typical duties you’ll be involved in:
- Administrative Support: Assist in day-to-day management and administrative duties.
- Data Handling & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and report data for relevant departments.
- Project Support: Contribute to ongoing projects within your field of study.
- Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and practical assignments designed to develop your professional and technical skills.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work alongside experienced professionals, collaborating on team projects, and providing regular updates on your tasks and progress.
- Client Interaction (where applicable): Depending on the role, you may also support internal or external stakeholders.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Management Assistant Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Management Assistance or Business Management.
- Data Analyst Learner / Intern:
- Qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
- Property Management (Facilities) Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Facilities Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering and Built Environment, or similar.
- Marketing and Communications Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Journalism, PR/Public Relations, Communications, or similar.
- Learning and Development Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Social Sciences or Humanities.
- Property Development and Investment (Asset Management) Learner / Intern:
- Degree in Property Studies, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or General Management.
- Admin Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Business Administration.
- Finance Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Finance.
- Property Development Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Property Studies, Business Admin, or similar.
- Property Management (Leasing) Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Property, Real Estate Studies, or Business Administration.
- Legal Assistant Learner / Intern:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) plus articles.
- Risk and Compliance Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Commerce or Law.
- Human Capital Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or Industrial Psychology.
- Property Management Learner / Intern:
- Degree/Diploma in Property, Real Estate, or Project Management.
Experience
- No prior work experience is required. This is an entry-level internship/learnership program designed for recent graduates or students completing their degrees.
- Applicants should be enthusiastic and eager to learn, with a strong interest in their chosen field.
Skills
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Comfortable working within a team and contributing to collective goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software (MS Office, or industry-specific tools) depending on the department.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and the ability to assist in resolving challenges that arise within your role.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
