Job Description:
BMW is seeking dynamic, motivated, and eager-to-learn candidates to join its Apprenticeship Programme in Rosslyn, Pretoria. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to undergo structured training for a period of 3 years, combining both theory and practical components. During the apprenticeship, candidates will gain hands-on experience while receiving on-the-job training at BMW Plant Rosslyn. This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain valuable experience in the automotive industry.

- Apprentice Mechatronics Technician (Millwright Trade)
- Apprentice Transportation Electrician (Automotive Electrician)
Responsibilities:
As an apprentice, your key responsibilities will include:
- Attending structured theoretical and practical training as part of the apprenticeship program.
- Completing hands-on work at the BMW Plant Rosslyn under the guidance of experienced mentors and technicians.
- Gaining skills in mechatronics or automotive electrical systems, depending on your area of apprenticeship.
- Contributing to day-to-day operations, learning from senior technicians, and performing tasks related to your trade.
- Completing assessments, examinations, and practical evaluations as part of the apprenticeship progression.
Qualifications:
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric with at least 50% in Mathematics (not Math Literacy) and 50% in Physical Science, OR
- NQF Level 4/N3 in Engineering Studies with 50% in Mathematics and 50% in Engineering Science.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience:
- No prior work experience is required, as the apprenticeship is designed to provide the necessary training.
- Nated Engineering Studies with relevant trade theory would be advantageous.
